My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Magic Moments Monday

OK, so it's Tuesday...what can I say??

Days are fluid when you work at night....even when on vacation!!

Here's the low-down on Magic Moments Mondays from Stephanie at Scraps

Magic Moments Monday

Welcome to the 3rd weekly edition of Magic Moments Monday. If you haven't participated before, here are the guidelines:

Mondays, for most people, are the "Ho hum, weekend's over, work is WORK, and can't wait 'til Friday" type of day. My intent is to help us begin our week with something positive, something to hold on to, to get us through the rest of the week. Your entry can be a Scripture verse, a quote, an insight, something that touched your life or changed the way you look at things. I expect some of the first entries to be from the past, until we learn to look each day for those magic moments that remind us how wonderful life really is.

Please leave a comment with a way to find your post, either the link through your signature, or insert the link, so we can all read your experience. Then, on your post, link back to this post, so others visiting you can participate if they'd like.
I hope to have us a logo by next week so you can post it on your site.

Going back to work after being home for 4 years is hard. It's hard to sleep when I hear the kids cry, it's hard to let Daddy handle all the bumps and booboos and fun. So, I've gotten into the habit of pulling my blog up on the screen at work. See, I don't have my own office or desk. I do have a picture of the kids on my locker, but I only see that twice a day...coming and going (while I'm trading my outside coat for my lab jacket and humming "Won't you be my neighbor"...) Since we use all computer charting I'm at the computer for a good bit of the night, and we have to have internet access to chart/get orders etc. heeheehee.......

So I just pull up my blog and have whatever is my current favorite picture on the screen, I look at it often during the night and remember that this is why I work. I work so that we can keep them in private Christian school, I work so that they can go to private therapy 6 times a week (Sonshine) and twice a week (Gator) and not have to be labeled "Special Ed" by the public schools. I work so that we can get out of debt and hopefully in about 4-5 years be able to move into a bigger house where the boys won't be sharing a room with each other and the girl won't be sharing a room with the computer and the sewing machine won't be in the living room and the dining table won't be in the kitchen...with the litter box........

Besides, look at this picture for a min or two and tell me it doesn't make you smile!!

So, what gets you through a "Monday"?????
