My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

I like Jungle Mom's definition of "sponsion"! I suffer from it quite frequently myself but I don't even have to eat a whole box of chocolates for it to happen!

Love Cookies' definitions of this week! He's a funny guy!

Now if I remember my medical terminology correctly, a mortise joint has something to do with the tendons in one's ankle but I can't remember exactly what. After all, I'm just a dispatcher and not an EMT or paramedic but I know I've heard the term used before!

As for Mort - hmmm, wasn't he one of Dick Van Dyke's buddies in the Dick Van Dyke show? Yeah, yeah - I'm old and remember that show before it was on "Nick at Night" or TV Land or whatever channel they show old reruns on!

Mortise Joint a place where mortisees hang out. Actually the joint between bricks or cement blocks that you fill with mortar to make them stick together.

Mort very simple. The guy that used to live with Mindy on the TV show. I believe he was from the land of Ork and played by Robin Hood.

Mortise joint is a type of joining of two pieces of wood together, usually at a 90-degree angle, as in a corner, like on a drawer.

Mort-Um...from the Latin for "dead" I believe.

Funnies:

A mortise joint is where all the mort people go to par-tay.

"I hear they got one of them mort things around their castle...you know, one of them ditches, with water in it, and they got one of them mort monsters too!"
