My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Vacation Day 12....recap

Remember when I said I couldn't remember what we did before Fr Philip came to visit??

Well, geez whiz! A flash of lightening and thunderclap just reminded me!!!

We colored on our driveway!!

This was a brand new experience for the hooligans as the sidewalk chalk was a gift.

It didn't take them long to get the hang of it..

Then they started asking me for particular pictures....

Gator really liked his green chalk....

It was hot and fun, and I don't know HOW I could forget it!

This past Saturday was the chalkfest in downtown Hendersonville. Everyone from 2 to 80+ is invited to chalk their masterpieces on the sidewalks on Main Street and the pics stay until they're washed away by the rain--which I believe was Saturday night this year. I've never made it down before they drawings disappeared, but I've heard there are some beauties there!

I hate it when the chalk washes away--I want to save those memories! I want the neighbors to see! I want to save that exact moment in time. sigh I want our daughter to be 6 again. can I borrow Sunshine??
