My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

A Big Day at Our House!

So, Subvet calls out, "Gator, stop playing with your balls and come over here!"

I give him a look...you know, that look.

"What?....He is playing with his balls!...All three of them!"

Since my high chair was absolutely as clean as it's ever going to get this morning... (reference previous post about my eventful day yesterday)

I decided that we'd go on and move Gator to the table and Sugars to the high chair. I was glad as she was getting a bit big to keep feeding in my lap.

Sugars is pleased with the new eating address.

Gator-boy couldn't care less as long as there's food.

He is not, however, pleased that MOM (Mean Old Mommy) hid a bunch of vegetables in his Kraft Mac N Cheese!!

If you enlarge the photo you can see that he's lining up the veggies on his placemat!

Looks like Sugars is already big enough to start gnawing on stuff by herself while you're feeding the starving pygmies.

The audacity! Hiding veggies in mac and cheese! That's blasphemous, woman! ;D

So your health tactic did not work!!! Keep trying. At least it entertains him while eating!!

sigh, my health tactics never work!

That little stinker just doesn't like veggies. I occasionally give him a meal of nothing but veggies...as Subvet's dad used to say "Hunger makes good sauce." The other boy will eat anything! He asked for more veggies last night!

and yes, she's almost ready to be gumming cheerios...almost.....

Try blending some veggies up in a sauce and pouring them over pasta.
Or have Subvet blend up a lot of veggies in that sauce he makes. Just a thought.

Steph, we've talked about doing that. And I will sooner or later, but for now I'm just being plain mean and making him eat them as is.

MOM=Mean Old Mommy!
