My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Gym Etiquette

At the gym Monday night I was struck by a the realization that I don't know the rules for proper gym behavior.

For example, I thought the lady who took no less than THREE phone calls during her personal training session was a bit rude.

But then, a really good song came on my iPod and I wondered if it would be frowned upon if I danced as I pedaled. Since no one else could hear my music is that like eating candy when you didn't bring enough to share with everyone??

But the real test came when I beat my best time on the bike.
It was all I could do not to jump in the air, dance and holler out "YES! 9 miles in 54min20sec YEEEHAAW!!!". Then do a happy dance.

So instead I just saved all my dancing for the drive home......surely the cops won't mind toooooo much,

right??

:-)

I thought the rule was: dance whenever, wherever! If this rule changed, I missed the memo :)

Nothing at all wrong with a happy dance or a couple of fist pumps or even several loudly cheered "YES!!'s! Or all of the above! You earned a celebration so next time, go for it!
