My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Help!!!!!
Something's eating my lillies that JUST BLOOMED!!! I've never seen these bugs before.
These things are all over my blooms! WHAT IS THIS PEST AND WHAT DO I DO TO KILL THEM ALL!!
I'm not real conversant on Texas beetles (or any beetles for that matter.) It looks almost like a cucumber beetle.
Since you don't have a ton of plants, I would send Sub out to pick them off and drop in some water with a bit of soap added. If you have a small portable vacuum that doesn't have a gale-force suck, you could vacuum them off.
Chemical control would be Malathion. For yard use it can be mixed in a spray bottle or you could use RTU (ready to spray/use)
Chemicals, properly used are quite safe. Improperly used they cause more problems than they solve.
In a spray bottle use 1/2 and 1/2 of dawn dish soap and water. Spray the critters good with that. It will kill the bugs but not hurt any of the plants.
