My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Thesaurus Thursday

I think I say this every time I try to post pics, but I really want a better camera!! Maybe next year we'll have enough stuff paid off I can justify getting one. In the meantime......

Now, I've been told that all my kids look alike, usually I don't see it, but here are pics of Gator-boy and Sugars at the same age....what do you think??

You can tell the picture of Gator was NOT taken by my camera!! (and it's been scanned too)

UPDATE:
Here's a pic of Sonshine at the same age too...just to compare....

Look close and you'll see that Gator and Sonshine are wearing the same pair of pants in these pics HAHAHAHA!!

Thesaurus Thursday

Our words are

crapulous

lupanar

Awards will be given out in Saturday's post, so don't forget to come and see if you won!

Just in case this is your first time by here on a Thesaurus Thursday, the "rules" of Thesaurus Thursday are as follows:

First and foremost, leave as many funny definitions for either word (or both) as you can think up in the comments!! The ones that make me laugh the hardest will be given the Silly Goose Award.

Next, if you know (or think you know) the true definitions without looking them up then be sure and leave those in the comments too!! All definitions that are correct (or close enough for government work and Mighty Mom) will win the Smarty Pants Award!

Yep, they all really favor. It's in the eyes, I think.

I like your new look. Is your header what you're wanting to change and add text to? Email me if you'd like to help.

Crapular: Fusing of the words "crap" and "spectacular", meaning, especially crappy.

Usage: "This has been a particularly crapulous day!"

Lupanar: Southern slang for location of a rope, "loop-in-thar".

Usage: "I thought that was the end of the rope but there was another lupanar."

Doh! Like for ME to help, that is. ;o)

Crapular: This is the new drug coming out next year to remedy severe constipation. Do you suffer from that "blocked up" feeling? Try crapular, just stay at home for the following three days. (You can imagine the list of side-effects!)

Lupanar: This is the new drug coming out for Mexican-Americans with insomnia. Is your name Lupe? Do you suffer insomnia? We have just the cure! Lupanar! (??? That's all I have....duh....)

Good Afternoon Mighty Mom,
I love the new look of your blog. I do think your 2 favor some. Wow, I had to go back and look at them both wearing the same pants. I did that also when mine were little. Hey, if they can be passed down, might as well get as much use out of them as you can. Well, guess I'm a little late in playing this game. Hmmmm, let me think here now.

Crapulous - Redneck word of poopies. LOL. I have the dang ole crapulous today.

Lupanar - Redneck word for Lunear Year. Is this the Lupanar that we are suppose to have this year?

I was thinking of the same definitions as some of the others, but I just decided to go with this. Hope things are going well for you this week. Take care my friend and have a great week. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

Oh my gosh, I'm laughing so hard at Pinky's definitions for TT that I can't possibly think of anything better to write myself! I know it's up to you but can I nominate a winner? If so, Pinky, Pinky, Pinky!!

Oh, and yes, the kids do look alike - at least in my own humble opinion!

Crapulous: noun, the debris in any and every "man-cave", or adjective, to describe the stories that come out of your husband's mouth when company is around.
ie: "I just swept 20 pounds of crapulous out from under your den sofa, dear."
OR
The story was obviously crapulous to the women in the group, but the men seemed to get a kick out of it.

Crapulous--combination of the two words : Crap (meaning excrement) and incredulous (meaning unbelieving.) Therefore, crapulous means an unbelievable amount of excrement. As in: " I found the politician's claims to be a bit crapulous."

Lupanar: Moon hiccups. (lu(pa)nar)

Oh, and I think Sugars looks more like you every day.

Your new look is great! it sure is time consuming isn't it!?!
My brain is too numb to figure out the words! I usually read it but don't put my brain to the test.. :)

There are some really good definitions here. I won't say which ones I think should win. I have more than one favorite. But I give up. I just can't top this!
