My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

"Praise God, and pass the tax rebate!"

Anyone want to guess what movie that's from??

I got the job!!!!

Before I get to that, don't forget to scroll down and add your guesses to Thesaurus Thursday, I put it up early this week.

Now, did I mention I got the job?!!!!

In 2 weeks time you will be able to find me working nights at a rehab hospital about 30-45min from home. Given that I drive 20min to go to Walmart (read, the sticks) this is a pretty good commute. Although it is further than Subvet's soon to be former job. OH, and the pay is >1.5 times what Subvet is currently making at his soon to be former job.

I want to thank each of you for your prayers. We must have been beating down the Big Guy's door, I think this is the fastest I've gotten an answer to a prayer. But I can say that each and every thing I have ever earnestly and repeatedly prayed for I HAVE been given.

I also ask you to keep on praying as we make this somewhat HUGE transition. SuperDad is wonderful and I know that he will be just fine with the kids...and in time will even be able to get Sonshine to speak loud enough to be heard :-), However, NinjaNurse feels rather rusty and unsure at this point. I'm just hoping I can work the kinks out of my numchuks over the next month.

I talked to a Physical Therapist friend a couple of days ago and she said the job would be a lot of bedpans and pain meds. Well, folks, I have 3 children aged 4 and under all in diapers (although Sonshine is making wonderful progress)....I'd say I'm highly qualified to take care of poop!

Y'all have a wonderful weekend! I'll be back sometime tomorrow with the Thesaurus Thursday winners!

Yee haw! Praise the Lord and pass the bedpan! ;o)

Great news, Sarah! Although I think I'm already having withdrawals because I know you won't be able to spend as much time on your new computer.... :o(

Praise God for answered prayer. He'll take care of the rest of the details just like He did the new job.

Love and hugs,

Diane

Many congratulations on the new job! Glad that you can an answer so quickly and that your commute won't be too bad.

I'm sure you'll have those numchuks all cleaned up and working flawlessly soon!
