My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

here we go again...

we interrupt this blog's usual silliness for an illness recap....

March 1st everyone gets diagnosed with strep
March 5th Sonshine starts with vomiting and diarrhea
March 8th Gator starts with vomiting.....

And here I sit, it's 1am on my night off and I've got both boys up watching Toy Story 2 while we wait for their waterproof mattress covers to finish washing so I can send them back to bed.

we don't seem to be out of the woods yet as Gator's still having the heaves every now and again poor kid.

hopefully this is the end of the illnesses, because I'm stressed and tired from all these ickies.

Think I'll go take a nap!

Yuck! I hope everyone feels better soon. Isn't that the worst kind of illness?

As I tell my daughters, "the days are long, but the years are short".
One day you will find yourself sitting in a house with no tykes. There will be no runny noses, no sticky hands, no coughing through the night...only silence. You will miss these days....one day.
Hoping all feel better soon.

Feel better soon. As for the nothing, it's quite simple. We didn't plan it at all, we were just pleasantly surprised to find ourselves without a thing to do on Saturday or Sunday.

I'm still feeling the effects.

Ok..you just made me feel better that all my kids are grown and gone now.

My daughter said my granddaughter went through the puking in bed last week. She spent her evening, last week, staying up and cleaning off the walls, the bedding, and all the stuffed animals in her bed.

Hope they all feel better soon...and hope you don't catch it. :-)

Gloves, we need gloves here! Yuk, you could do this at work and get paid for it. But then again, you couldn't watch Toy Story, either.
