My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Trip to the eye-ball doctor

So when the lady calls us out of the waiting room, Sonshine runs up to her and yells, "I want some glasses please!!!" She cracked up, said most kids fuss about getting them, not asking for them....

Turns out he's far-sighted and I was told to get him a pair of OTC readers for close up work.

So I did.

His head's so big and round that the women's fit him best....which is why the lenses look too big for him...but they don't slide so that's what I went with.

Now the other two kids are bawling and throwing fits because THEY want "a turn with the glasses"......

GO FIGURE!!

So did he get 3 for the price of 1?
I'm looking forward to some new glasses myself...

I should send you my old pairs of cheaters as I grow out of them and need something stronger then all of the kids could have their own pair! Thankfully I can get them cheap at Ocean State Job Lot for about $2 a pair. Eventually, though, I'm going to have to break down and get a prescription I suppose. Ah, the joys of growing old ... or in the kids' case - being young!
