My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Gettin down with the Mouse

Well, the biggest hit were the games....which I have no pictures of because I was too busy herding hooligans at the time.

Check out the frowns....when the big screamfest that preceeded ChuckE started Sugars and Gator both got scared and I had to take them back to the games till things quieted down....then when we brought them back to the table they cried.......till we put bits of chocolate frosting in their mouths.....

yes, chocolate does cure everything!

Gator really likes blowing out those candles! He blew out the match before the guy got our candles lit...then he blew out the candles at the start of the song...then he tried to blow them out before Sugars had a chance, would have too if not for Daddy's hand over his mouth.....

It was a fun party, but I came home hungry and tired.

And here's what to do when the 9 inches of snow breaks the stems on your blooming hyacinths......

my kitchen smells waaayy good right now!

we had a good weekend. Hope you did too.

Was the screamfest because all the children were scared of the giant mouse? lol.

oh how wonderful!! Looks like tons of fun. Love the 'star' glasses ---and yes, chocolate is a cure all for what ails. LOL

regarding the question you put in my comments...actually they're beautiful leaves from a sea grape tree. LOL

Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Oh wow..seems like you always have a party going on over there! The pictures are great, I want glasses like that. :-)

There was a story in the Chicago Trib a couple of weeks ago about a little tot who got left behind at a Chuck E. Cheese because the mom thought the aunt was taking her home with her to spend the night and the aunt thought the mom had her. But what really blew me away was social services took the kid from both of them for a few days until the court convened! That was definite overkill. I think having social services do that was probably more traumatic for the kid than getting left behind!

I've done birthday parties there and at places like it, they're great, but like you said...trying to keep them all corralled is not easy!

And you're right...chocolate does cure the blues!

Glad the party was able to go on even with the snow!

Never been to see the mouse. Emmy loves the place but I intend to avoid it like the plague. All that noise is too much for my nerves these days. :-/

Glad your bunch enjoyed it after the mouse moved on, lol. ;o)

Looks like a good time was had by all, though I can fully understand being scared by the noise and large characters, too!
