My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

A Finished Project!

Here's the baby blanket I made for a co-worker! I have to be at work tomorrow during the day for a skills checkoff so I'm going to try and get it to her then

:-)

On to the next sewing goal - the footprint blocks for my Mommie Quilt!

TEA TIME!

This Tea Party is hosted by Ruth at Celebrate Friendship. Stop by and tell her hi!

Today I'm going to show you one of my hubby's cups. The logo seems to fit my mood lately as regards a) getting to the gym and b) my weekly goal list!

My tea is black cherry with a spoonful of sugar

I'm excited about our upcoming party. ALL of our immediate family will be there as far as I know. Even my siblings!!

When the well runs dry remember a rainstorm is right around the corner. :-)

Nice quilt, and even nicer is the sense of accomplishment you get from making something so nice with your own hands. :o)

Love the cup! Was Subby a Chief Petty Officer as noted on the cup?

I'm having a nice hot cup of cinnamon stick tea while admiring your handy work with the baby blanket. Sounds like you had a much more productive week than I did but then again, I never expect to get much done on my 56-hour weeks like this week was and next week will be.

Sounds like a good excuse at any rate, eh??
