My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Friday Fragments

So, who here knows Mrs 4444?? She's a special ed teacher who stole my heart awhile ago with her patience and humor, not only with her own two teenagers, but also those she teaches. She's been doing Friday Fragments for awhile and I wanted to join in...but couldn't put together enough fragments. Till Now!

Friday Fragments are bits and pieces of your week that are usually brief; too short for a stand-alone post, but too good to discard. Collect humorous observations, "Heard" items, and other small gems and put them together in a Friday Fragments post.

Does anyone else cut their kids' sandwiches like this, or is it just me??

Anyone wanna guess how these items came to be in their odd places?

great toes vs big toes Why is it medical terminology to say great toe, but not big toe? What's the difference??

Sonshine comes running down the hall one morning last week "Momma!! I squashed a duck!! In the bathtub!! And it made BUBBLES!!!" thanks Subvet for this wonderful euphemism.

Well - my Mom cut my samiches in fours but from corner to corner. My ADD/OCD would never accept a samich cut without little points.

I know, I know - it just depends on how you look at the pieces but really, when I come to lunch can I have mine cut corner to corner?? Hmmmm, thanks...

Oh yes - and the corners of my toast MUST be buttered. Drives my DH crazy!

I cut my son's grilled cheese like that! But he is 17 months. I may outgrow it-we'll see! Happy Friday!
