My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

HELP!

Remember these?

I used hand quilting thread, double thickness.

THE HOOLIGANS BROKE IT, inside of about 4 hours.

Any suggestions for something stronger that isn't stretchy like fishing line? I'm wondering about Pearle Cotton thread or the crochet thread I used to make Subvet's Rosary...providing the cats don't get it!!

aarrrrggghh!!

Help! I need somebody
Help! Not just anybody
Help! you know I need someone
HEEEEELLLLPPP!!!

I was just thinking last night that you hadn't posted what the kidlets thought about their bears--now I know!

Maybe yarn? Braided or crocheted into a chain? Except for the hole...

I'm thinking fishing line could cut their fingers.
Of course, that might be a deterrent...

I'm not much help when it comes to things of a crafty nature but how about the heavier thread that people use for tatting? Doesn't that come in thicker sizes? Or is there a nylon sort of thread that isn't fishing line that might work?

Good luck finding something as them bears were beyond cute!

Metal wire? Or do you insist that these things be cuddly?

Double up some dental floss and try it. I've used it before for stuff that will be under stress. Also, you might look for some upholstery cording in the appropriate weight and thickness.

Try using button craft or upholstery thread...... I use it for my bears joints on small bears...
