My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Goals
I just love getting flowers for no reason! Hubby is a Good Boy!
Last week's goals were:
1) Go to the quilt store. Done! Yeah!! I bought tons of fabric for upcoming projects!! I now have all the fabric and batting for my sister's quilt, fabric for the 3 baby blankets for my co-workers...plus some extra to have onhand, and fabric, patterns and notions for me to make matching Easter dresses for me and Sugars!! Now, I need each night to last about 5 hours longer and I can get all this done!!
First Down, ball's on the 40.
2) restring the yoyo bears. Done! So far so good. It's been 4 days and they haven't managed to break the crochet thread yet!!
First Down, ball's on the 30
3) exercise 3 times during the week on nights off. I managed to get 2 nights in there. But the third I'd forgotten to take my heart meds and didn't wanna risk exercising without them!!
Second Down, ball's on the 23.
4) work on Sugars' quilt. Done. Actually I've worked quite a bit on it! I picked out, traced and cut flower templates for the applique work. and I've got 17 of the needed 21 nickel sized circles basted which will become the flower's centers.
First Down, ball's on the 13
5) frame cross stitch. Fraid not. I forgot to measure the silly thing before making my pilgrimage to the store on Monday. So it's still in the closet waiting to be measured and framed.
Fumble! defence takes the field.
Now, for next week my goals are
1) frame that cross stitch!
2) finish the 2 posts that I have saved as drafts
3) work some more on Sugars' quilt
4) get started on the Easter dresses
5) exercise 3 nights (sooner or later I'll actually get up to THREE nights a week, so far I'm averaging 1-2)
So, what are YOUR goals for the week.
Yes, you DO have them, even if you don't write them down as "goals". Do you need to go to the store? Got a book you want to finish? Papers to grade or a room that needs cleaning?? These are goals. It always helps me to have a list, otherwise I get a few spare minutes and I just sit with a book. This way I get some time and think "now what do I want to do?" I pull out the list and decide which one I want to work on right then. :-) And it's soooooooo nice to be able to mark em off as DONE!

You are very motivating. I'm not doing well with my weight loss. Haven't found that mind set this year YET!!!! I will!!!!

Great list! Your goals are so wonderfully creativity-oriented. My list runs more along the lines of: Don't forget chiropractor appt, figure out way of rigging up dog's water bowl so she won't spill it, clean out under kitchen sink... I won't bore you with more. &:o) But, I do have a plan to sew new kitchen curtains! Yay! Score one for me. IF I actually get it done, anyway...
Love the flowers!! I generally have to go with daily goals. Sooo today I have to scramble to the bank and do some creative financing to pay daughter's tuition by Friday :0) That's enough for one day ...
Girls always dig flowers!
:O)
Way to go, Subvet! Those are so cheery-looking! I almost bought myself flowers at the grocery store yesterday, but I decided to hold out for the hyacinths that will be coming in today!
I have GOT to get my act together! I do best when I actually put the list in my planner and have to carry it over from day to day until it gets done.
Hello... I am here from Diane at Diane's Place...she is my mom. I am Jessica and I wanted to stop by and tell you how much I like your blog... I have to set goals or write everything down too, or it never gets done. Hope that you have a wonderful day and a great rest of the week.
Love, Jess
The flowers are beautiful. I can almost smell them! goals--yup, gotta have goals or I get distracted. I keep a small notepad with me and it has numbered lines--came from an insurance office--and it's great to put goals on. and grocery lists. and anything else I should remember!
i love how you put your goals and achievements into a football theme. i'm always cheering for a touchdown =)
i need to upload all my pictures from our Christmas vacation, organize them, upload to flickr, watermark some of them, and then back them up. i just keep putting it off. obviously... it's jan. 21!
You have me laughing!!Yes I defintely have goals NOW, after you comment left for me concerning my overwhelming office/desk mess!
You are now my personal coach if we can negotiate the right salary for you? *smiles*
oops I just realized you forgot to list one of your GOALS for next week. That would be:
"Assign Pam her next 5 goals!"
My goal is to keep bumbling along and hope I don't bump into something sharp or fall into a hole too deep I can't get out of. Ha! I love this goal setting stuff. My goal is long-term: lose thirty pounds by December. I think slow and steady wins that race, but I MUST get off my butt!! Thanks to another blogger, I've brought out my looming (I can't call it knitting, I just can't!) gear and I'm looming hats . . . and I just bought the one for scarves . . . I must be insane.

My goal is to get all of my nine years' worth of junk and clutter gathered together and move to my new home without too much of a hassle or throwing out my back. This is going to be tricky ...
And the flowers are lovely! You're right about SubVet being a good man!
Sounds to me that you have had a good week. Good for you. My goal is to go to bed now. First I need to fold teh load in the dryer then I need to.... You know how it goes.
