My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

It's Saturday.

Well now, I wanted to see my videos again so I clicked on them and youtube said they were no longer available....I went to youtube and there they are, plain as day so I have no idea what that's all about.

I'm glad that all of you enjoyed that little tip. Keep practicing it and you'll get it down. Also, start with a larger eye/needle to learn.

Usually I read through the dictionary to get my Theasaurus Thursday words, but Subvet had printed off an essay written by a priest for me to read and there were several words I didn't know in it so I used 2 for this week. Seems that y'all are "smarter" than I am so I won't be doing that again ;-)

I'm giving all of you the smarty pants award and Linda gets the Silly Goose Award for one very silly definition!

For the record, the "official" definitions are as follows:

surfeit - 1 excess; an excessive amount. 2 excess or overindulgence in eating or drinking. 3 an uncomfortably full feeling due to excessive eating or drinking 4 general disgust caused by excess or satiety 5 to supply or feed to excess or satiety; satiate 6 to indulge in something as food or drink, to excess.

exegetical is a form of the word exegesis - critical explanation or interpretation, esp of Scripture.

So there you have it!

I missed Show and Tell this week, I'll try to get it together next week. I may have to write all my regular posts ahead of time and then just post through the week or something, we'll see...but my hits dropped way off yesterday and I think it's because there wasn't something fabulous for you to see huh? I had to call in sick last night cause my allergies/cold/whatever was just too bad to cope with. Glad I did cause I slept right through till 2AM! :-) Then I was able to give Subvet a little time off this morning, we stay at home parents know that sometimes you just have to GET AWAY FROM THOSE KIDS!! He went to the library and hung out for a couple of hours. We're very thrill seeking folks round here, let me tell you. Before we had kids we could spend HOURS in either a library or a Barnes N Nobles!

So, tonight's burning question.

What's your favorite way to spend alone time??

Have a good weekend, I'll be around lurking......

It really doesn't matter....a bookstore, window shopping, a coffee shop, a record store. ANYTHING, as long as I'm alone. I'm easy to please. Of course, a full day at a spa would be nice...I'm just sayin'....:-)

I've actually had some time alone this weekend as Amanda is off visiting a friend but do you think I've been smart enough to do anything other than go to work and spend time on this darned computer at home?!? I do plan on doing some cleaning later if that counts for anything!

You know, the first thing I do is walk around the house in a daze... or wonderment... or something like that. We live with dd, sil and 2 grands, so being alone is like, a miracle? Once I get used to the idea that it's really true, I'll probably turn on some really loud music and do the same stuff I usually do in quiet.
