My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Well, good old Snopes strikes again....

Have you gotten that email about sending a Christmas Card to "Any Wounded Soldier"???

Well apparently your lovely card will end up in the Post Office trash can.
In an attempt to ensure the safety of our soldiers, only mail addressed to a specific person will be delivered. So don't send a generic card. See Snopes for places that will accept mail and then distribute it.

As I would like to get all my Christmas gifts made by Thanksgiving, blogging will be light the next two weeks...forgive me?

So, I'll leave you with a funny from Cookie....

LOL! That looks like my family when we'd travel with all the cousins in the car. It was amazing how many legal immigrants you could load in a car in the 50's!!

Maybe he was a brand new BPA, though I don't remember the BP ever being quite that slapstick. Had to be a joke video.

Good Afternoon Mightymom,
I haven't gotten any email about sending a wounded soldier a Christmas Card. I do believe I have seen it on a couple of my blogfriend's sites tho. I haven't even begun to think about Christmas yet. I do know it isn't far away. I'm one of those last minute shoppers. I never have the money earlier enough. I just have to squeeze it out in 1 week in December. I do hope we get to play Thesaurus Thursday again. I had so much fun last week. Thank you again for the award. That was my very first award since I have been blogging. You take care my friend and don't work too hard on those Christmas gifts. May God Bless You.

Hugs,
Karen H.
