well, by 8:30AM today Subvet and I had already had more excitement than we'd bargained for.
Apparently, Mr. Alligator extraordinaire had pulled all the clothes off the sofa that I'd laid out for them to wear today. So Daddy points to Gator and tells him to "Put that back!!" At which time the sweet child brings all the clothes over to Dad and hangs them off his pointing finger.
About 15 min later we're watching Dad prune our crepe myrtle out the window. I made a comment about how I had no clue what Dad was doing..or why he was doing it now. Next thing I know Sonshine is saying "Daddy has no clue. No clue Daddy!"
So I guess this brings me to another letter
C
Chatter I am so very relieved and pleased to be able to tell you that our house is full of constant chatter. I worked literally for 3 months to teach Sonshine to say the word "go" starting when he was 18 months old. At that time he only had 2 words. We had no idea what this child's future would hold. Well, we still don't, but I've learned that this is normal and parents who think they do know what to expect for their kids are lying to themselves. Life is unpredictable and can change in the blink of an eye. Today, at almost 4 my Sonshine is talking our ears off....repeating all those things we wish he wouldn't..and occasionally coming out with those little truths that zap us right between the eyes!!

That is so cute that he was repeating 'daddy has no clue'. That is quite a reminder that we need to be careful what we say!
It may get repeated when least expected.
Too funny !
oh no, I said that I had no clue! He turned it around himself that Daddy had no clue....
which I thought was funny cuz you don't prune crepe myrtles in Nov, you do that in late Feb-Apr. Daddy really DID have no clue what he was doing ;-)
It's hard to be patient, isn't it? I'm so glad they're talking your ears off!
Love ya!
Too funny! I remember waiting so long for DD to start talking--and 3 years later wishing she'd just BE QUIET for 30 minutes! lol
Hey, How old was Einstein when he began to talk??? I think 4!
