My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

We Went Somewhere New!

thanks to the wonders of FACEBOOK....

A friend posted a video of her two boys at this waterpark about 20 min from home. I got directions from her and added it to our Summer Plans List!

The kids and I had a wonderful time! Plus it's free! :-)

Sonshine is the tall one in the grey shirt....Gator is in the green shirt.

Sugars never did decide to get wet...but she had a good time policing the perimeter of the fountain park

While Gator ran.....

and ran.....

and ran! For the entire hour we were there!!

Sonshine did some running too....

But mostly stayed in the middle waiting on the biggest fountain to squirt....up his shirt, up his back...

and yes,

up his butt.....B.O.Y.S.!!

Sugars discovered she could leave "a CLUE A CLUE!!" (ie footprints) and decided that was the coolest thing going!

Meanwhile, about 11am a very nice fellow came by and gave me some shade!

This was a great place! Small enough I could keep track of all 3 from my seat under the umbrella, but big enough the boys were totally wiped out after an hour!

I'm betting we'll be going back soon. Special thanks to Margaret for telling me about this place!

Anyone else know of fun places to take the kids this summer??

i love these kinds of fountains and watching kids play in them. we have one in our central square (that i wrote about last summer). i would go and park, either reading in my car or out on a bench while also watching the fun that's going on.

but... this year, the fountains have been turned off. there's only a sign saying that they are being worked on. the square just isn't the same and so many kids are missing out on the fun =(

glad all of you had such a good time.
