My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Spotlighting a new blog

Well, folks,

I'm not out there looking for new blogs to read. Really I'm not. I like my little circle of friends and it takes me about 3-4 hours to go down my favs list as it is...but I do try and go visit all new commentors here and every now and again a new commentor on another blog will catch my eye.

I happened to come across Airborne Poppa's comments a couple of times hither and yon and thought he was a cool guy. So last night (at work no less) I finally made it around to his blog. Mark 1:11

I found there seven of the most moving, well written posts I've come across lately. And I encourage y'all to take a few mins and go read his blog. My favorite of his posts is "You have a son" (take a tissue).

Besides, in a comment on Subvet's blog he said "Subvet, you don't have a chance, Mighty Mom has you covered on the net and on the home front."

Now you know flattery is a Mighty powerful tool!! ;-)

And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased." Mark 1:11

Mighty Mom,

To say the least, I am touched by your remarks and the posting of my blog on yours. Thank you for the kind remarks. I am pretty sure I speak for many many fathers who now,in the past and in the future will have a son who will say just as my son did "if I don't go who will?" We, dads and moms are proud of our children who go "in harms way" to keep us safe in the great county we live in.

G-d Bless America and all our sons and daughters!

PS I read airbornedad's post and forwarded it to my son.
