My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

new sport.

You are looking at the runway for a new sport that will be all the rage in our next Olympics...

Demolition Derby, Boys-style.

You'll notice that there aren't nearly as many toys off the shelves as usual...

Apparently at some point they learned that if you leave the stuff on the shelves you have ALL THIS ROOM!!

And can then use it for even better and more entertaining activities!

These activities are currently topped by the Living Room Demolition Derby, Boys-Style...

They get hyper when they get tired...which is most evenings since they've decided there are better things to do than nap.

As they wind up they start running from one end of my living room to the other. You'll notice the room is specially designed for this activity as it is long and narrow...all furniture is along the sidewalls and there is nothing (like a coffee table) to impede maximum speed attainment.

Of course the height of the thrill comes in the demolition part...that would be when they run into each other as hard as possible..to see how far back they bounce.

Dear Sweet Brilliant Sonshine has taken to telling me "Oh, I fall down." each time....(DUH!!!)

And, (also, of course), the absolute best most wonderful time to play this new game is after dinner and before we start getting ready for bed. (i.e. While Mom is busy cleaning up the kitchen!)

However, I just smile and think of how proud I will feel when they take home the gold medals at the next Olympic Games!

**sigh**

Apparently the cat has some kind of sport on his mind, the way he's eyeing something in the entertainment center.

Inquiring minds want to know - what's so interesting in there? ;D

I like the attitude of the coaches. This is the olympic training ground, and it won't pass, they will just arrive at sports that surpass household furniture!!!

Trust me!! And remember I have attended many olympic events...my canopy bed died as a result of the summer games and the gymnast twirling. Then they took the poles as javelins....fortunately no ER visit resulted so all and all the summer games of Las Vegas NV went well!!

I earned the silver medal(in my hair LOL)

Sounds like a lot of fun!!
I do miss the crying part though, when they've bumped a little too hard!
