My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Sedulous I had a good one until I read Subvet's comment about Cool Hand Luke being a "chick flick" Even I can't stretch my imagination THAT FAR! I'll get back to you on it.

Glad SOMEONE agrees with me. Of course, I keep trying to convince Subvet that the Dirty Dozen reference makes Sleepless in Seattle a guy movie!

For any newcomers to Thesaurus Thursday, the "rules" can be found here.

For all winners, the Awards can be found on the sidebar to pick up at your leisure.

Now don't forget to leave your comments for the new words!

"The Dirty Dozen" is my favorite movie of all time. Seriously. I like John Wayne, western and war movies. No chick flicks for this chick! ;o)

Pencel: The French word and pronunciation for a wood and graphite writing instrument, pen-CELL.

Penstock: The shaft or body of a pen, especially a fountain pen.

Sorry, that's the best I can do today. My brains have turned to snot, courtesy of my accursed allergies. Ugh.
