So, I'm betting you can't see this well enough to even try and guess what it is (crappy camera strikes again) so I'll just tell you.
Sonshine lost his first tooth this week!! :-) This is a pic of said tooth sittin on the dollar that the tooth fairy brought him for it.
Funny thing. He couldn't care less about the dollar. It's still sitting on the table. I'm guessing that will change over time...huh? So, now I need to add making a tooth pillow to my To-Do List. Wonder if it'll get made before Sugars looses her first tooth??
And not too long after I wrote that post about toddler past-times Sugars was found enjoying hers.
Cuteness.
It is a precisely developed mechanism employed in order that one may be allowed to do those things that one shouldn't do.....it works by completely and instantly destroying the parent's reprimand system on sight.
To Lori who said "kids that talk and entertain themselves are a GOOD thing. But when they get REALLY quiet and you're in the bathroom, you're guaranteed a major mess!"
After Sugars emptied my bag of 246 yoyos that are sorted for the 3 bears and was found "counting" them while Daddy was in the bathroom....for the third time....I offered to give him a catheter. He wasn't impressed by my act of generosity. So I moved the bag instead. :-)
For Jungle Mom, Diane and other war movie buffs. Here's my favorite quote from my favorite war movie.
"Negative waves! Negative waves! Always with the negative waves!"
"I like it man, yeah! Like, so many positive waves...like it's GOTTA work!!!"
Who can name that movie? Character speaking? Actor?? any other trivia??? Does it surprise you that I like this character so much??

Susan
I could use one of those catheters!! Sweet smile on Sugars!!
The Tooth Fairy leaves a dollar for teeth these days? Dang ... where are my pliers?!?
Sugars looks like she was having a fine time with her favorite past-time.
As far as your movie trivia, no clue at all! None - zip - zilch - nada! You're going to have to clue me in!
Has she smeared a pound of butter into the wallpaper yet? Written on your living room couch and chair with permanent marker?? Those are a few of the things my DD did when her father was babysitting.
Movie Trivia--I came up with two movies where donald Sutherland said that--Kelley's Hero's and the original Mash movie.
Now if you could just teach Sugars to assemble them....
She looks so pleased with herself!
