My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Sleep

Why is it that I sleep more on my days off? Here I have a rather long to-do list that I'd like to get to-done, but instead I seem to spend at least half of my night off asleep on the sofa....and the other half online reading blogs and commenting...

There is a disconnect here somewhere between my desire and my practice.

Oh well, the good news is that I have 2 more nights off to work on those costumes and I finished a baby blanket last night...so maybe sleeping tonight away isn't so bad....right?? right???

OH, and I'd really like to thank the 6 of you who are following me. That's nice. It's cool to know that someone likes you well enough to actually follow you.

I'm so glad you came by my blog! All 3 of your kids are special needs? Wow, that must keep you busy! Both of my sisters are also (there are just the 3 of us). Let me know if you ever need someone to talk to about "stuff" I don't have special needs kids of my own but am responsible for my sisters.

Have a good day!

Since I have spent so many hours painting and such, my arms are aching all night long and that keeps me waking up. When I'm not so busy, my mind usually interfers with either weird dreams or insomnia. There are days I want to just go to bed and sleep for hours. I've tried naps but then I can't sleep at night, so I'm usually tired.

Sometimes I think it is good to just sleep until your body wakes. You probably need the extra sleep and in the long run it is better than making the costumes and such. I'm sure you will get it all done and perhaps you'll be rested enough to remember it all! :)

You sleep because you can! I do not follow anyone because it makes my Paraguayan internet even slower in trying to load up my page.

I have a bad habit of doing the same thing on my days off (few and far between as they are!) and I've got to think it's because I need the sleep otherwise I wouldn't do it! Consequently there's a lot to be done around the house and I've not the ambition to do it!

i agree with some of your commentors, if you're sleeping more, your body needs it. it's just hard when you feel like you need to be doing something else.

and i have to thank YOU for following me, too =)

I can't imagine what would make you so tired that you would need to sleep! That's silly!! You're such a card.
