My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Spilled Coffee??

Subvet says to me.

"I can tell I've been a stay at home Dad for awhile now."

"really? how??"

"You know that stain where I left my coffee cup on the floor and Gator-boy knocked it over?"

"Yeah"

"Well, I was looking at it thinking.....it looks just like a Heffalump!"

I went and looked. Looks like a Heffalump to me too!

what do you think???

DD was crazy about Pooh--I did her nursery in Winnie the Pooh--but the Heffalump must have come along later.

I'm doing the carpet cleaning route, too--in about 3 weeks when I have vacation. It will entail packing up the living and dining room stuff and moving furniture because it's such a mess. Thankfully, I found a great guy who doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

In the meantime, I'm trying to blot up the worst with white vinegar and water.

I see the bear counter has moved a LOT!

Jessica's almost 21. Apparently heffalumps came along after she got too big to care about them. I've heard the term but I don't really know what they look like.

cute heffalump....yeah...we've got a few stains that look very similar and probably from the same thing...and I just got the carpet cleaned this spring. :-s

I think from the left it looks like a huge man-eating fish with its mouth open. From the right, it's more of a terrier with tiny antlers trying to drag an oversized shopping bag.

In our house, that stain would be from the cat. He's really old, and doesn't always take the time to find his litter box.

You're both absolutely right! Now where are the Woozles hiding???

i think i know what a heffalump looks like and i guess in a weird, skewed kinda way, there is a resemblence =)

my flower pictures are actually in the right order. it's a thistle, a weed, where a flower first appears but then blows itself out into the white whispy stuff. similar to dandelions.
