My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

To Obama that's just another distraction. But, as he keeps reminding us, he's a patriot. Eventually, if he repeats it enough, he may even believe it. I certainly don't.

I don't necessarily endorse McCain but I agree with the soldier, and the last part of him walking away on a prosthetic leg, assumably lost in Iraq, is especially moving.

By the way, I sure don't intend to vote for Obama. I really don't fully endorse McCain's platform either but it looks like he's the lesser of the evils in this election.

The whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
