My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Goals.

1) make the swim shorts - well, I got the pattern cut out...next time I'm off I'll sew them together

2) refill snuggleometer - :-)

3) get to gym 3 times - I made it once. The other time I went the place was unbelievably packed. I couldn't even find a parking spot!! You would think people would be AT WORK at 9am....

4) get this soup made
- oh boy it was sooo yummy!! hubby froze about half of it :-)

5) finish making Gator's newborn footprints! - nope. not a thing on this one.

No goals for next weekend because I only have 2 nights off before I go back for another 3 nights of work. Saturday is jam packed with things to do all day long too! So I'll wait and make goals next week.

How about you? have any goals for the weekend?

So glad y'all liked the soup. One thing about it, it's a flexible recipe. I never make it the same twice in a row and it's always good. Great for using up leftovers and odds and ends too.

Headed to bed, have a good one. ;o)

Love and hugs,

Diane

Your goals are so realistic. I seem to set goals that are more than I can attain or too complicated...This is a wonderful lesson! Thank you!! Cathy

Let's see ... goals for the weekend ... NOT throw my back out thinking I can shovel wet and heavy snow; maybe get the dining room straightened out; and hopefully get up to visit my Mom whom I haven't seen in a couple weeks.
