My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Geaux Saints! Who Dat?!

well, I got invited to watch the Super Bowlin 12 different states!! I never knew I had so many friends! Thanks guys, what a way to make a gal feel loved.

The Jen formerly known as Pinky who lives just down the road a piece invited me to her house. A huge Thank You to Jen for the invitation. However, in looking over all the things I needed to get done today I was unable to take 4 hours off to go and watch the game.

HOWEVER, Evansmom gave me play by play facebook updates to rival any sportscaster! It reminded me of the stories of listening to baseball games over the radio...facebook style. Thanks a zillion Evansmom! You're the best.

I made it to the gym in time to watch the post game show. But found it hard to read the closed captioning and watch the plays at the same time haha...maybe I should figure out how that whole headphone on the bike thing works....

What a fun time for all Saints fans!

A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had
great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he asked
her how she liked the experience. 'Oh, I really liked it,' she replied,
'especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't
understand why they were killing each other over the 25 cents.'
Dumbfounded, her date asked, 'What do you mean?' 'Well, they flipped a
coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept
screaming was: 'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!' I'm
like...Hellooooo? It's only 25 cents!!!!

Due to the fact that we were busier than two one-armed paperhangers at work yesterday, my partner and I didn't turn the game on until about the last 5 minutes so we essentially missed the whole thing. Not that I really cared one way or another who won but she has friends in Louisiana so she was rooting for the Saints.

With inflation being what it is these days, you'd think they would flip a silver dollar rather than a quarter and fight over it the whole game! :-)

It was a great game for sure! I was happy for the Saints! Wonder how they are going to split that quarter???

LOL! That was a great joke! I never heard it before...but now I have to wait until the next football season to tell it to my friends!

You are welcome, Mighty Mom! I am not a huge football fan so it made the game more interesting for me. My husband - who doesn't really "get" the whole blog thing- thought I was a little crazy because I kept jumping up and running over to my laptop.
