My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

You might remember what happened the last time Subvet took the boys for a haircut....

While I was wallowing in my sick-bed Tuesday he took Sugars for a haircut...

sigh. she's a cute little pixie-girl, but it's a big change for Mommie (aka Ma!).

Sarah,

She does look absolutely cute as a button, but yes, it is a big change. Enjoy those benefits of being home sick. Looks like you're having a nice cuddle time and a bit of fun.

Feel better soon.
Blessings,
Mary

Seems like Subvet went to the same school of thought about hair cuts as my father!

I think she looks adorable and you'll get used to the change; plus hair grows back very, very quickly!

Hope you feel better soon!

She looks adorable, but maybe Subvet better not be in charge of haircuts anymore. These kids are not in the armed forces!

She's adorable, but yeah, there are some things men shouldn't be involved in.

Aww! I LOVE pixie cuts on little girls. They're so EASY! And they frame that sweet, cherubic face so perfectly! (I mean, how could you go wrong with any haircut on a doll like that?)

(And, yeah... Get better, already!)

i was worried that it was going to be really, really short. so i was pleasantly surprised. it's still quite a bit shorter but it looks very cute on her.

hope you're feeling better.

Speaking as a professional - it is better to keep hair a bit shorter on young girls. Long hair which is often tied up in pigtails or braids, damages the developing hair follicles. Result? Hair thinning around hairline or other stress areas when they get to be seniors.

That's one (but not all - hormones play a part)of the reasons you see thinning hair on older ladies.

It's also easier to care for, cleaner, and she looks positively wonderful. It highlights her beautiful eyes...
