My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

New Christmas Tradition??

So, we're breaking out the Christmas movies today....

First we saw Mom's favorite "The Muppet Christmas Carol."

Then we moved on to "A Charlie Brown Christmas"....followed by "It's Christmastime Again Charlie Brown"

It was half way through the last one when Sonshine turned to me and said.

"I'm gonna be a sheep!"

"oh, ok, you can be a sheep."

"I'm gonna be a sheep, and Gator-boy's a shepard!"

"Oh, OK."

"YEEEEEEES Momma! And you're the angel! You say 'Hark!'......say 'Hark!' Momma"

"mmmmmm Hark?"

"I'm a sheep, Gator's a shepard and you're the angel...you need white wings!"

"OK, I'll get right on that....but what about Sister and Daddy??"

"Sister's a cow....she says Mooo!......say MOOOOOO sister! .... sister?"

"and Daddy?"

"He's a Rooster"

"Got it. When are we doing this??"

(I got that 'well, duh' look....from a 5 yr old it's scary.)

"For Christmas Momma!! You're the angel and Gator's the shepard and I'm the sheep and Sissy's the cow and Daddy's the Rooster MOMMA!!"

"Oh, sorry, guess I need to practice.....Hark!"
