according to John Lennon. Sonshine, however, thinks it's homemade Chicken Noodle soup made with shell pasta
and....
a straw that Mom gave to help suck up the juice, but that he thought was put to better use stabbing the shells,
and.......
looking at himself in the now cooled off pot when he was suppossed to be washing his hands.
and, of course....
a little post-meal chat with one of the two flies that graced us with their presence.
I was informed that this was the Daddy fly, the Mommy fly had left just before I took the picture to go find the baby flies.....
footnote:
How is it that a child who can't stand in one spot long enough for me to pull up his pants can be still enough to get this close to 2 flies on the window ledge????

I loved these pictures!! I am with your son, happiness IS chicken soup with shell pasta (or elbow mac, both are my favorites!!) He looks like he is having a fun day. My sons were the same way at that size... they couldn't be still to do those boring things like sit on the potty or get dressed, but they could watch ants or design Hot Wheel tracks for hours. Boys are something!! =)
What handsome cuties!! Soup at Pen of Jen's today too!!!
I love the concentration! I remember when mine used the microwave as their own news reporting station and would stand in front of it reporting the news holding a utensil as a microphone!!!
I cannot repeat it enough the war department is going to have many troubles when the girls get a hold of these guys and their striking eyes!!!(and looks))
ok--obviously Bill signed in during his lunch break!!!The above comment is of course not made the the man, but by his sweet, charming, adorable, humble wife~ Jennifer
Note to self check on who is logged on....I seem to be competing with 5 other pen of jen monsters!~~
I'm home but haven't had the time to post yet, and I'll be gone tonight. So it will most likely be tomorrow before I get a post done.
Are you making any progress in your potty quest?
So, have you had the birds and the flies talk with Sonshine, or did they have on a dress and a suit and tie, or what?? Inquiring minds want to know....hee hee! ;D
Love and hugs,
Diane
oh darn, I was all excited Quill of Bill had *finally* blessed me with a comment.....
*sigh*
Diane, beats me, I'm just repeating what I was told........
Your son has very good eyes indeed if he can tell the Daddy Fly from the Mommy Fly! Heehee!
He's such a sweetie...love the pictures!! I remember my boys looking at themselves in the toaster or kettle and giggling because it made them look so funny:-) I've got two flies in between my two kitchen windows...dead ones. And it figures I can't get them out because of the air conditioner! lol xox
Linda, better eyes than I have for sure
Pea, are they Daddy or Mommy flies?? Are you going to hold a funeral once you do get them out??
Kitty, for some reason Sonshine thinks that shell pasta looks like little fish so he calls it "fish food"...go figure
