My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

The Great Passy War

In this corner we have Mom, wanting the passy,
In the other corner we have Sugars, wanting the fingers.

Looking good for Mom

Ut-oh folks, there may be an upset here.

"Are you sure I have to use a passy?"

"How's this?"

"Ummmmm"

And the judge names the winner

"Who, me??"

"VICTORY!!"

I can't believe it myself...but as a judge I never think that you will outdo the cuteness of a previous post...then you do...

So you lose one to the fingers, and win one in the blog world!!!

Sugars too cute! Judge too handsome and Mighty Mom hurray!

Thank you! It's nice to win!...Even if I do ALWAYS lose to the hooligans :-)

By the way, That's Gator-boy as judge. Sonshine was off at therapy during the battle.

Sugars looks like her Daddy! Don't tell him but I think it's a little cuter on Sugars. ;D

I wish Jessica had never started Emmy on a pacifier. I hate having to keep up with it and keep it clean, etc. Then we'll have to take it away and break her from it. *Sigh.....*

Emmy is doing a little better with her spitting up. We've changed her to lactose free formula to see how she does with it. Lactose intolerance runs in our family so it's worth checking out.

Stay tuned......

Love and hugs,

Diane

OH yeah, lactose intolerance can do it for sure.
Let me tell you. I didn't push Gator-Boy on the passy thing. He's had 2 fingers in his mouth ever since. Now he's 2, fixin to start pre-school and I can't get those fingers out of the mouth. I can't wait to see how many illnesses he brings home after playing with everyone's toys with wet fingers then sticking all those germs in his mouth. I'm not giving up on this passy. After all, I'm bigger than she is, right?? :-)
They make cute little passy clips. It loops onto the passy and then clips to their clothes, that way when they drop it it won't go anywhere. especially since she's not rolling yet it'd be worth your while to get her one. I got mine at ye ol Wally-world (Wal-Mart). I think Target sells them too.
Have a good day tomorrow. Aren't you supposed to be in bed by now anyway??

Awwwww what a little doll:-) I loved the commentary you put with every picture, it suited each picture perfectly!! lol Neither of my boys wanted a pacifier...Shawn was a thumb sucker and that's why he needed braces when he was older! Ugh! xox

Thanks Pea! Yes, braces are in our future too, for Sonshine definitely. Can't blame the finger sucking, it's genetic. Afraid he got mama's mouth. :-(

My baby prefers his fingers to his passy, too... sigh... my youngest daughter, now almost 7, sucked her two middle fingers until KINDERGARTEN!!! We all (me, husband, dad, stepmom) tried various ways of breaking her of it for 3-4 years (starting at age 2 or so) But the only thing that finally stopped the habit was when she herself realized that no one else at elementary school had the habit. The good news is, I don't think it caused her to get sick any more than your average child; she was always very healthy. Your daughter is just too cute, by the way!! I love the grin!! =)
