My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Your Defining Post.

Do you ever think back over all you've written and think THIS POST really shows ME. Do you have a post that you'd say tells who you think you are the best?

Who DO you think you are? :-)

I was perusing a new blog the other day and came across a reference to raising SNKs as bearing a cross. It gave me pause for thought. I've never seen it as a cross. I see it as a blessing, an humbling gift. Don't get me wrong, some days are H.A.R.D. but every day is precious and wonderful. I feel very lucky to have these perfect children.

I don't think I could pick one post that describes who I am...all my posts are a culmination of who I am. I try to be a fierce advocate for my faith and love for God. However, I've always had a bit of the irreverent humor in me. And of course, a passion for politics which will get me in trouble all the time!

I think there will always be things about me that I won't bring to the surface...not horrible things that I want to hide, just private stuff that I prefer not to share because there are too many people on the Internet that will use that to attack.

I hardly know who I am, so I can't imagine one of my posts explains it!

Good selection Sara. Mine would probably be the one I just did for the Honest Scrap Award.

I'm with Mary Ellen on this one, I don't think that there is just one defining post - that I'm more a sum of all my parts and that there are parts still missing in the form of posts I've yet to write.

Nope, no defining post. Or if there was, I don't have time to go back and reread my posts to figure out which one it was. 8^)

Since we are constantly changing and being changed, what might have been a defining post for me would be less accurate now.

So true! I remember reading that post you linked us to and thinking about what an extraordinary woman you were!
