My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

where's the baby?

ever since 2003 I've had a baby.

This is the first time in 4 years I've had a 2 yr old and no baby.

It feels weird. Doesn't every 2 yr old automatically come with a baby brother or sister attached??

This realization hit me just about the moment that Sugars' pee hit the toilet water yesterday. See her big half nekkid grin "TT Potty Mommie!!! TT Potty!!!"
oh yeah, we did a potty dance.

Here's some pics of her helping me make Christmas presents back before Thanksgiving....

In my case, I had a baby every 5 or 6 years. I would get the last one in Kindergarten and BLAM! Back to the maternity clothes.

By the time I had my fourth child (my only son) my oldest daughter was in High School. She was incensed! I guess the thought of mom and dad having sex was just too gross for her. She said, "You're just like a cicada, you pop 'em out every 5 years!" She and my other daughters all loved (and still do!) their little brother, though. In fact, they are all very very close.

Now I can enjoy my grandkids...and leave the potty training to my daughters. I'm in charge of spoiling....and I'm darn good at it!

My baby (and only) is 15. Too young to give me a grandchild (I am hopin' anyways) so I have my fingers crossed for a friend of mine. She really wants a child... and I have promised to be the honorary "auntie" who spoils 'em.
Enjoy the holidays with your kiddos.
