My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Kindness, Love, and Have mercy!

Kindness:
from facebook last Saturday.

Some days the kindness of strangers to my kids makes me cry. In the school parking lot in the rain my oldest was having a complete Autistic meltdown because the school's Fall Festival was canceled due to weather. A lady brings him one of the jackolantern cupcakes she was taking back home. Made all the difference!! After eating the cupcake he was happy and I was in tears!!

Love:
I L.O.V.E. to dance.

and am seriously close to forking out the $60 on the Zumba DVD set.......
I mean, doesn't this look like FUN!??

Have Mercy!

So, two days before the Halloween Party and Parade at Preschool...when I have FINALLY finished sewing all the stripes on her tabby cat costume....sugars has decided she no longer wants to be a cat. She wants to be an ELEPHANT!!

I told her she could be an elephant in a cat costume! :-PPP

my daughter wanted to be a princess after her satin fringed "flapper" dress was made. sigh she still remembers she didn't get to be a princess that year.

it doesn't look fun, it looks SWEATY.

One Halloween I was in charge of some kids game, and had a tiny little girl that I thought wanted to play. Nope, her daddy confessed she just wanted to win one of the decorated cupcakes we had for prizes. (smirk) its GOOD to be in charge of the cupcakes--you can give them away if you want to!

I think that sometimes we all need to rely on the kindness of strangers and how kind of that stranger to give your son a cupcake and make his evening. Bless her soul!

I've watched the Zumba infomercial on TV and though it looks like fun, it also looks like a fine way for me to throw out my back! I am not at all coordinated I'm afraid!

Saturday was nasty in your neck of the woods and I understand the need to cancel. Were you in any of the Tornado warning areas? I'm glad the lady reached out with kindness. Very sweet. Hope the weather is good for trick or treating! I've done zumba once at the YMCA and it is quite a good workout!!

Am I alone in thinking the cupcake sounded better than the Zumba?

I bought the set years ago, but don't have a place to exercise where I can see the television at the same time! It's really difficult to do Zumba on carpet.

Bless the lady with the cupcakes!

Love the elephant in a cat suit solution! Did she buy it?
