My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

This is Terrific!

Over at The Creative Minority Report there's the results of a study that proves that having babies makes your brain grow!

Really!!!

my favorite quote:

And those moms who are particularly awestruck and gushy over their babies show more growth in the brain areas associated with motivation, reward and the regulation of emotion, the researchers said.

Take a look for yourself!

wow, I feel so emotionally regulated!! ;-)

I can see that I did grow in those emotional areas. Too bad I had to lose memory and attention span. =( Not to mention gain stretch marks and belly flab. Ah well it was worth it though. =)

Hmmm, well, I have three kids like yourself but I'm not so sure about being emotionally well-grown though some days I feel more so than others!

I popped over to wish Subvet a day late but the sentiment was the same regardless of the day!

I love your blog's Halloween header! Your kids did a nice job carving jacl o'lanterns!

I head this report on the news and thought it made sense as a newborn infant makes a mother hyperalert 24/7..that has to make the brain grow :)
