My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Friday Fragmentedness

Created by Mrs 4444, Friday Fragments are bits and pieces of your week that are usually brief; too short for a stand-alone post, but too good to discard. Collect humorous observations, "Heard" items, and other small gems and put them together in a Friday Fragments post.

Okay, I'll actually link and post this on Friday and everything so as to be "official".....

These are the pictures from the other half of Grandparent weekend at school:

Mimi came and read these two books to Gator's class...

They had a great time!

10 points to the person who can guess WHAT Sonshine's doing here:
**I'll put the answer in the comments**

Hint: it's not the same as what he's doing here:

As part of their Book Fair week the school asked for pictures of any former or current military friends or family of the kids to be displayed on their Wall of Heroes. So of course I sent this in....

Yes, my backpack is almost as big as me...and yes I insist on carrying it anyway! It's not like I'm some puny giiiirrrlll or something!!

Matter of fact, as you can see I'm the biggest girl in my class!

By the way, strange (and yet wonderful) things are happening on the job front......what exactly ARE you people praying for???!!!! (keep at it, whatever it is...thanks)

in the first 2 pictures of him Sonshine's being a Knight, the last one he's being Peter Pan fighting Captain Hook...complete with potato head-shield.

As I was looking at the pictures I was thinking, "I can't believe how big Sugars has gotten."

So happy for you on the job front.

Oh I believe in praying and believing and praying some more. Praying for COMPLETE healing of our daughter, Suzette.

That book for grandparents day looks like one my cats should read. They are both overweight.

Stopping by from Friday Fragments.

Those photos are precious! And that backpack - too cute - I've got one who wears hers down to the knees here as well!

Happy weekend!
