My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Fragments of a crazy life

Created by Mrs 4444, Friday Fragments are bits and pieces of your week that are usually brief; too short for a stand-alone post, but too good to discard. Collect humorous observations, "Heard" items, and other small gems and put them together in a Friday Fragments post.

Nope, it's not friday yet...I'm either a little late or way early....I prefer to think of myself as early.

I wasn't ready to be done with Christmas yet. But for some reason Sosnhine has decided it's TIME to take everything down. Wouldn't let me procrastinate another day. Now my living room looks empty....sigh. And suddenly I feel LATE in getting the Christmas Cards out. Better get that done ASAP!

"Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer, has a very shiny nose....and if you ever saw it....you would even say it BLOWS." ~~Sonshine

Momma, "Finish eating your cookies so you can get down from the table"
Sugars, "Yes dear, eating cookies"

How is it that the child in need of eye drops crys and fights while Sugars, who no longer needs them, is standing there asking for "drops in eyes Momma! want drops in eyes!"

I passed a car on the road the other day. While sitting next to them at a long light I got curious...so I counted how many air fresheners they had....I counted 3 from the rearview mirror, 3 from EACH back seat window and 1 from the back windshield. All I could think of was, "I wonder if they have bad gas?"

10 points to the person who can correctly identify what's in these pictures....as named by Sugars

Sarah,

Ha! Kids can be bossy, can't they? LOL Brandon is the same way and if I don't do as he asks, he says, "Graaaandmaaaa!

Not sure what Sugars would call the vehicles. I will come back to find out though. Love your kids.

As per your comment on my Botanical Gardens blog, I'm not sure what they used for the skylights. At first I thought Mica, but then it would be more yellow. I do wish they had put up signs telling the natural materials they used for each building.

Wishing you a wonderful and happy New Year.

Blessings,
Mary

Hmmm...No idea why anyone would have THAT many air fresheners!

Your kids are so sweet. Good for Sunshine, keeping you from procrastinating :)

I guess I'm too old; I can't think of what she'd see, other than trucks.

Look at you, lighting a fire under me to get my FF going for this week~ :)

Air fresheners? What ever happened to opening the window?

Wow. That is an amazing amount of air freshners. I hope they own stock in the company! Wonder how many they have in their house? 50?

Love the comments from the kids. So adorable.

Perhaps those folks were just air freshener collectors and they were displaying a few of their favorites?? Nah ... probably bad gas!

After standing in line behind a young girl with the worst B.O. e-v-e-r at Best Buy yesterday--I wish I had a few of those air fresheners to hang on her. Sheesh.

LOL! You're early, dear. (Love the "Yes, dear"... from Sugars &:o) We still have all our decorations up. I wish I had someone to give me a little push about starting to peel them down. We'll probably start after the Epiphany... But, like you, I miss them when they're gone; the house feel so empty.

Love your oh-so-accurate description of the eye drop situation. Maybe it's the same reason why my toddler LOVES to blow her nose except when she actually has a booger in it!

LOVE Sonshine's interpretation of Rudolph - I'm going to sing it that way to Princess Nagger and see how quickly she corrects me... ;)

Also loved the 'Yes dear' from Sugars! :)

That's a LOT of air fresheners... overkill! :)

Sometimes I want to hang air-freshners like that from people here. It seems that many have not yet jumped on the "wear deodorant" bandwagon yet.
