My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

goals and Thesaurus Thursday!

Forgot to do my goal post yesterday.
So last week's goals were:
1) finish quilting the baby quilt. Only 12 days left to get it finished for school!!
2) continue with exercising
3) get this stuff mailed.

The only thing I did on this list was to walk at work a couple times.

So, same goals for this week, wish me luck!

Well, I think I can say with some assurance that there's no chance of me knowing the real definition for this week's words. :-/

Adscititious - What happens when kids get tired of learning to add.

Usage: The whole class became adscititious after 3 hours of working addition problems.

Adumbrate - Scientific term for those dinosaurs that died out because they were too dumb to survive.

Usage: Ichthyosaurs were obviously adumbrates because, hello! you don't see them lumbering around nowadays, now do you?

Yeah, pretty lame, I know. Sorry, it's the best I can do right now.
