My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

Up for Grabs

Caution!

Sorting in progress....

Now, there are several things that I'd rather not throw away but am unsure who would actually like to have them.

These are:

small basket of patterns, these are classic styles and some 80s-ish that would be fine if you forego the shoulder pads (can I tell you how many stray single shoulder pads I have thrown away!!??) The sizes on these patterns are all either 18-22 or 20-24 women's. They've been used but Grandmother told me LONG ago that instead of cutting through the pattern she would fold the pattern on the cutting line so that she kept all the sizes. Woman had more patience than I do!

This is one of those packaged projects from long ago. You use it to make a quilted pillow or pillow cover. It is a parrott sitting in a tree, blow the pic up if it's hard to see. It has already been attached to batting that's still in fairly good shape. you just attach whatever fabric you wanted to use to the other side of the batting, quilt on the lines through all layers (it says can be hand or machine quilted) and then attach to a pillow or make a cover out of it using your fabric as the topside and the pattern would then be inside the pillow. Did that make sense? It's hard to explain but would make a beautiful pillow or wallhanging.

Next we have about 1/2 box of bottom weight sturdy denim scraps. If you patch jeans or want a heavy quilt this would be perfect for you.

enough blue netting to strangle a herd of cattle!! Perfect for princess dresses, tutus, bride's maid dresses, or craft projects.

Now, if you'd like any of these items to find a home in your box then PLEASE let me know!!! This stuff HAS to find a good home or it will become landfill.

I Kid You Not. Subvet is BESIDE HIMSELF with all this clutter around here!!

I have also found quite a bit of Tshirt fabric, sweatshirt fabric (royal blue), bottomweight fabric, and tons of double knits in all manner of prints and solids.

Again, if this appeals to you or ANYONE YOU KNOW then please let me know!

Now, anyone remember these??

Check out the warning and ingredients on this!

Who can guess what this is???

And my Tyler Roses bloomed yesterday!!!

This last one is my all time favorite type of rose.

It is called a Peace Rose.

I leave you in peace as I head back outside to work on the next stack of boxes!

A couple of those items seemed too personal to respond to! However, was there any NASCAR material in there. It would make a nice comforter for a little ol' man stuck in the Ohio winters with just his cat and rocker. Just wondering.

Oh, the roses, the roses! The peace rose has always been one of my favorites! What a happy gardener you must be.

Thanks so much for your kind pickins, btw, &:o)-- and if you don't have a taker for the blue netting and haven't already sent our earlier prize package, we'd rather take it than have it pitched! Since it's blue, maybe we could use it for our Blessed Mother corner or something...

I love the Peace Rose. I bought one at the tailgate market a couple of years ago, and it is so lovely. I wish the blooms lasted longer, but then, they'd have to call it war rose, wouldn't they?

Your mystery object looks like something I've done in the past: I took a leg from some old panty hose and filled it with cedar shavings to hang in my closet as a moth deterrent and for smell good reasons.

All right, where's that lovely double knit you said you were going to offer up for grabs???

well, i know you don't know me... but I was going to see about that blue netting - have 3 girls that LOVE princess clothing... but if you're going to send it to "Lisa" who seems to know you - good for her :)
and good for you for decluttering!!
it is a hard process sometimes...
