My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

My First Giveaway. UPDATED!

According to blogger, this is my 885th post.

A good number to celebrate says I!

I promised Stephanie at Scraps that I'd play along with the Pay it Forward game. I haven't done this yet and since April and May were so productive I feel like I could handle 3 extra small projects. Here's the rules

{The Rules}
1. Be one of the first THREE (3) bloggers to leave a comment on this post, which then entitles you to a handmade item from me - something crafty or yummy, who knows?!

2. Winners must post this challenge on their blog, meaning that they will Pay It Forward, creating a handmade gift -anything!- for the first 3 bloggers who leave a comment on YOUR post about this giveaway!

3. The gift that you send to your 3 friends can be from any price range and you have 365 days to make/ship your item. This means you should be willing to maintain your blog at least until you receive your gift and have shipped your gifts. And remember: It’s the Spirit and the Thought that Counts!

4. When you receive your gift, please feel free to blog about it, sharing appropriate Linky Love!If you are not one of the Top 3 Commenters on this post, you can still play along. Go ahead and start your own Pay It Forward chain, and encourage your blogging friends to do the same.
REMEMBER... Pay it forward!

EXCEPT!

Because it's raining and I want more than 3 comments on this post I'm changing the rules.

Everyone leave as manny comments as you can think up. (each comment must have MORE than 2 words) And for each comment you'll get a chance in a drawing for one of the 3 handmade gifts. I'm also making the "Pay it Forward" part OPTIONAL! If you just wanna try for the giveaway go ahead and leave a comment..or two...or three!!!

Now, go out there and tell all your friends to come play in my giveaway/pay it forward! I'm feeling comment deprived lately.

:-)

I think everyone has slowed down on posting and commenting lately.

I know I have because I never know when I'll have to drop everything and go sit in a dr's office or hospital for hours at a time. We had to make a spur of the moment trip to Memphis yesterday just so an infectious disease specialist could draw blood for bloodwork, and now this morning they've called and said they "forgot" to have Lamar give them a urine sample. We're trying our best not to have to make another (90 mile, one way) trip to Memphis, so it's been a nightmare of phone calls back and forth, trying to set up an appt. with either our dr's office or the hospital so they can take the urine sample and order the correct tests for it. Ugh!!!

I am so sick of this, and so is Lamar. We're really hoping for some answers, and soon!

Okay, now that that's off my chest, hope you're having a good day, lol! ;o)

Nobody's figured out that the more comments you leave, the more times you're entered?

The word verification for this comment is "flycaphne". Hmmm....

Okay, I'll play!

I didn't win any of the other pay it forward contests I entered, but maybe I'll have a chance here.

But I don't know what I'll make for others....

I'm not into the pay in forward thing (I only make big quilts and making three and sending them is spendy!) and I haven't figured out how to mail cupcakes! LOL I am thinking you are getting BORED! Live it up while you can!

Please enter me again! That makes for 3 entries, I think, so maybe my odds are pretty good. :o)

Fact: did you know there are approximately 15,000 babies born each hour?

another fact:
did you know that an average chocolate bar has about eight insect legs in it?

Obviously I cannot think of anything to say so I prefer to say random facts

It's after midnight here, but not there--so am I still in? lol

Though it's really not fair for me to enter, since you're one of my PIFs.

So I'll only enter twice.
