I'll save you the gory details, but I made an emergency trip to the rectal MD on Thursday as I was afraid I was getting an infection at the stitches line.
Turned out it was just localized swelling.
Guess what his prescription was??
TAKE A BATH.
Matter of fact, he wants me to soak in a warm/hot tub of water FOUR to FIVE times a day!! For at least 20 min each time!!!
I'm thinking THESE are instructions I will have no problem complying with!!

Sounds PAINFUL and a bath is assuredly a good solution. Don't take the computer with you....heehee.
Reminds me of those good ole sitz bath days. Enjoy the soaks!
