My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Anyone care to join in?

There's quite the Tinkle Contest going on at Subvet's over that teacher who humiliated the 5 year old boy with Asperger's Syndrome. Apparently one of his commentors thinks the teacher was right to do what she did...and more.

Just thought you'd like to know. If you feel so inclined, please leave a comment over there and make your voice heard!

Thanks folks,
Sarah

OMG!!! I was going to leave a comment on Sub's post but don't even want to get in the middle of that contest. So I'll only say, ignorance is no excuse for abuse. To any CHILD!! The teacher should be released. I love your kids and am as proud of them as if they were my own and think they are awesome.

i've been reading the comments come in from the beginning. i wanted to write something along the lines of what i was thinking - how sad it is that this guy is so ignorant - but didn't want to get in the middle of it.

thankfully, others were able to so eloquently articulate what i was thinking. but i did just leave a comment. i hope this guy can open his ears - and his heart - to what others are saying.

Went over there to comment--wrote an essay, I think. My co-workers have commented how red my face is right now--yep, my blood pressure is up.
