My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Thesaurus Thursday, Answers, Winners, and Words

Don't Forget To Scroll Down For Newer Posts!

Just in case this is your first time by here on a Thesaurus Thursday, the "rules" of Thesaurus Thursday are as follows:

First and foremost, leave as many funny definitions for either word (or both) as you can think up in the comments!! The ones that make me laugh the hardest will be given the Silly Goose Award.

Last week's Silly Goose Winner is:

Stephanie - Jipijapa--some kind of funky, jiggly dance! (Of course, that describes any dance move I make, but let's don't go there.)
me too babe, me too...

Linda - Jongo - a drum made of of recycled toilets similar to a bongo (yeah, I know - this one was really crappy!).

Next, if you know (or think you know) the true definitions without looking them up then be sure and leave those in the comments too!! All definitions that are correct (or close enough for government work and Mighty Mom) will win the Smarty Pants Award!

One for the house. No one knew these.

Official Definitions:

Muskellunge- a leap made by a horny Muskrat.

Muskeg- a barrel of beer at a Muskrat Ramble party, possibly causing the Muskrat to Muskellunge after imbibing several tankards...

Muskellunge is a fish, often called a muskie. Good fishing! Not found around here but in the colder northern waters.

Muskeg -- Not sure about this one, so I'll try for funny...and probably fail miserably. ;o)

Muskeg -- A tiny skeeter beer barrel.

Muskellunge - a cologne worn by male muskrats so that the female muskrats will lunge at them because they just can't resist!

Muskeg - The knot on the side of a male muskrat's head that was given to him by a female muskrat when he made an improper move on her hoping she'd get a whiff of his muskellunge scent!

I'm from Alaska. I know these. Be schooled.

Muskeg- Sort of like tundra. A terrain that's too thick to swim in and too wet to walk on.

Muskellunge - the halting gait of a person native to this terrain.
