My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

SNOW DAY!!

You might have heard that we had snow last Sunday. Matter of fact, although it only snowed on Sunday and Monday, there's still some on the ground and rooftops. These pictures were taken Sunday afternoon.

Uh, Texas kids don't have need for gloves as a rule...so we improvised....

See our snowman? Subvet says we had bad snow, it was too dry for making snowmen....

So we had to taste it to see if it was too early for snow! Sonshine decided it needed sugar....

And while it was too dry for snowmen, it was okay for snowballs........which of course means we had to have a Snowball Fight!!

Good times!
by the way, the high on Sunday is 53, low 42 with a 50% chance of rain.......
round here we enjoy our winter while we can! ;-)

Yes, enjoy it while you can. It's so pretty. I'm sad today that ours is melting now that we've hit 40 degrees!

Just goes to show that it can snow ANYWHERE! Should you decide you miss it when it's gone, I've got a good two feet of the ground out here, I'd be happy to send some out your way!

you enjoy that white stuff. I'll try to send you some of mine. And some of the cold weather. Will be -20F at times the next week. Last night it RAINED--but it was 18F. Made some nice thick ice on everything. Windshields. Roads. Sidewalks.
