My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

"Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...
It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

Your mind is the garden, your
thoughts are the seeds, the harvest can either be flowers or weeds. — William

Here I sit......TRYING to make my Christmas gifts and being reminded why I put this picture in my little sewing corner...

You know, not a single thing with the gifts this year has gone right.

From not getting started working on them on not getting them finished on glue not doing what it's supposed to kids not doing what they're supposed to thread not doing what it's supposed to sewing machine not doing what IT'S supposed to dropping the running out of ribbon...and

you name it, it's gone wrong....

need a closer look at that picture??

can I get an "Amen!"

since it took me over 2 years to finish the cross stitch on this it's also a reminder that perseverance pays off!

Beautiful picture!!! You are so talented...Take a long walk, reflect and come back again, and all will look different. That's what I have to do when something has gone awry! Wishing you well! Cathy

Don't talk to me about handmade Christmas presents. At least you're trying.

Oh AMEN and then some! Why is it that whatever can go wrong always does go wrong rather than going right? Just once it would nice, eh?

Hang in there, you shall overcome!

The closer it gets to Christmas, the simpler my gifts are getting to be.
