My Husband "Subvet" says that when our first son "Sonshine" was born the sun rose on our world, when our second son "Gator" was born the sun laughed and when our daughter "Sugars" was born all the flowers bloomed. That says it all.

K.I.T.

going back to work after 5 nights off is hard.

I wonder what it will be like after 6 weeks off??

Surgery date is coming up...May 7th. I'm still trying to get all the kinks worked out of my Leave of Absence and Short Term Disability Pay.....

I've got her dress all cut out. Sat night I'll get it sewn together. My goal is to have my sister's quilt pieced, basted and ready for quilting before I go in for surgery...that'll give me something to do in the hospital. I also want to get some music onto my ipod to take with me. :-)

I'll be thinking of you when I'm winging my way back to the East Coast on the 7th and hoping that all goes well.

As far as going back to work after 6 weeks off ... I'd guess it was going to be quite tough!!

Everything'll be alright in the end; if it's not alright, it's not the end... Sounds like you are way on top of things.

I gotta tell you, btw, whenever I'm over here at your place, my three year old won't let me scroll down to read, because he has to gaze upon your children and their monkeys and their neat monkey tree and make nonstop commentary about it all.... My little guy just loves your gang!

We'll have to send you back to school for a refresher course!

I love having lots of nights off in a row, but I always feel a little discombobulated the first few hours of the first shift. It takes a while to get my rhythm back.

Did I miss the surgery news?

Is this the surgery you've been planning for a long time? I had forgotten about it. How long will you have to stay in the hospital? Details, please. (6 weeks recovery time?)
