Here he is at the little recital they put on the last day of camp.
Gator had a good time in his Dr. Seuss class too!!
To celebrate the end of camp we went out to lunch at our favorite local catfish restaurant.
The roses hubby bought me last week have opened up HUGE!!
School starts two weeks from today. And while I'm a bit stunned that I'll have 1 in FIRST GRADE and 1 in KINDERGARTEN. I'm really looking forward to re-establishing some routine around here! These loosey-goosey summer days are too much for me or the kids!
But let's discuss school supplies for a minute. I mean REALLY!! I have to buy TEN boxes of crayons!! TEN! That's 240 crayons for 2 kids!!! School's only in session for 180 days.....So are they going to use a different crayon EVERY DAY of the year???? amazing!

Yikes on the crayons. The photos are great! I always looked forward to school starting up again and to get back into a routine!
Why ten boxes of crayons? Do you have to buy enough for everyone in the class? We just had no-tax weekend here--and you can bet your patootie I didn't go shopping! Not quite into the mob scene.
Then again, I don't have to buy school supplies.
I don't get that either. Such waste.
It looks like they really had a grand time. The kids start school here this week...Daughter teaches high school art, granddaughter is junior and grandson is in 5th grade! Where did the summer go!?1 cathy
ahhh...I remember those last weeks of summer when my kids were little. bittersweet, indeed.
Enjoy these last couple weeks, they do fly by!

Can't say that I've ever had catfish but no surprise there as I'm not a major fish fan on any level though I did find out I like crabcakes when I was in Baltimore. Your kids all look like they love it!
Why so many crayons? Isn't that a bit ridiculous? Are they redecorating the school??
Two weeks, eh? Wow - where did the summer go??
Ah, the roses! Husbands make up for a lot with just one boquet of roses -- and the smart ones know it! Good job, Subvet!
And, I wonder about that many crayons... We only had to have one box of 12 for each of our tykes plus a small box of colored pencils... We have very precise nuns at our school, tho. I expect they take crayon counts after every project, God bless them!
